Exhibition Games
Exhibition Games between two Member Organizations/Clubs within the same Provincial Union are automatically sanctioned and an application is not required to be submitted on Rugby Canada’s end. As always, everyone participating in the match must be actively registered.
Exhibition Games between two Member Organizations from different Provincial Unions are required to submit an application (Click Here for Application) for approval from their Provincial Union and Rugby Canada. The hosting team must submit the Exhibition Game application and the travelling team must submit an Interprovincial Tour application which can be found here: Interprovincial Tour – Canada Rugby Registration. Both applications must be submitted before the match can be sanctioned.
Exhibition Games between a Member Organization and a Non-Member Organization from Canada are required to submit an application (Click Here for Application) for approval from their Provincial Union and Rugby Canada. The hosting team must submit the Exhibition Game application and proof of Commercial General Liability Coverage and a fully completed Roster to confirm age-banding for the Non-Member Organization must be emailed to sanctioning@rugby.ca before the match can be sanctioned.
Exhibition Games between a Member Organization and a Non-Member Organization from outside of Canada are required to submit an application (Click Here for Application) for approval from their Provincial Union and Rugby Canada. The hosting team must submit the Exhibition Game application and the travelling Organization from out of Country must provide a tour approval letter from their National Union, proof of Commercial General Liability Coverage and a fully completed roster to confirm age banding to sanctioning@rugby.ca before the match can be sanctioned.
