Refunds
SportLoMo uses a split payment process, when a participant pays their registration at the start, the participants club, Province and Rugby Canada get credited with their portion of the fee in one payment. This is to save the registrant having to make 3 different payments. However, in the event of a refund, all of the stakeholders are to return their separate portions of the overall fee in accordance with their refund policies. The refund request to all stakeholders can be done on SportLoMo (please see how-to guides below).
Rugby Canada and SportLoMo are not able to interfere and accept/decline refunds on behalf of a club and/or provincial union. For any issues specific to the Provincial Union and/or Club, the registrant should connect with their respective club and/or Provincial Union regarding their portion of the registration payment (please see Provincial Union contacts list below).
Rugby Canada is able to issue a refund in 3 different ways:
If it has been less than 15 days since the registrant has registered and has not participated in any Rugby related activities, the registrant can request an automatic refund through the registrants SportLoMo account. The registrant should ensure that 24 hours have elapsed since registering before attempting to request a refund.

If it has been more than 15 days since the registrant registered and the registrant would like a refund, the registrant can request a manual refund through your SportLoMo account.
Once the registrant has put their refund request through, it then needs to be approved by each party involved in the refund. If the registrants club, province or Canada Rugby approve the registrant, they are then Rugby will issue the registrants refund online, and the transaction back to your credit card will be completed within 5 business days.

Although the preferred method for a refund will be ‘Manual Refund Online’ there are occasions when Rugby Canada may issue a cheque i.e. the registrants’ banking institution has changed since the original transaction. If a cheque is to be issued, the time in which the cheque is processed and sent out can be timely.
