Directors and Officers Liability Insurance
Directors and officers (D&O) may be sued for actual or alleged errors or omissions while performing their duties as officials of the organization. D&O insurance will pay those sums the organization/club directors and officers, become legally obligated to pay as compensatory damages because of a wrongful act.

D&O Insurance coverage is extended to rugby club directors and officers in Canada whose rugby club is a member of a provincial union. The Rugby Club must be registered on SportLoMo, and all directors and officers must be registered on SportLoMo under Board membership.
Rugby clubs located in Québec are not exposed to Director and Officers Liability through the National Insurance Program. Rugby Clubs in Québec should contact their provincial office for more information.
